This distinctively styled, tall-roof compact sedan and sporty SX hatchback receive minor changes for 2007 including standard cruise control and automatic transmission on the Aerio Premium. The standard 2.3-liter, 155-horsepower four-cylinder engine and either a five-speed manual (or four-speed automatic) remain the same as last year. Suzuki’s QuadGrip all-wheel drive is available on all models. A four-wheel independent suspension contributes to a sportier feel than with many small cars. Anti-lock brakes, front side airbags, air conditioning, keyless entry, fog lamps, power mirrors and windows, a rear defroster and tilt steering wheel all come standard on the base model; a six-speaker AM/FM stereo system with MP3 capability, CD changer and larger wheels and tires are offered on Premium versions.
