350Z
Nissan's rear-drive 350Z is a true driving enthusiast's car, with a rev-happy engine, precise handling, and head-turning good looks. Cornering abilities improve in higher trim levels, thanks to tire upgrades. A convertible was added to the line last year that features a fully automatic power top and glass rear window that stow beneath a tonneau cover. The car's 3.5-liter V-6 engine produces 287 horsepower and is mated to either a five-speed-automatic transmission or a six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox. 17-inch wheels and tires are standard, with 18-inch versions included in the in the Performance, Touring and Track models. Anti-lock brakes, a CD stereo, fog lights, power accessories, and alloy wheels are standard across the line, with front-side and side-curtain airbags optional. Expect only minor updates for 2005.
