A new Ralliart performance package is available on the
mid-size Galant sedan; it centers around a punchy 258-horsepower 3.8-liter V-6
engine teamed with a five-speed Sportronic automatic with manual shift
capability. Mitsubishi says the Galant Ralliart can hit 60 mph in under 7
seconds, making it the quickest Galant to date and competitive with sport/V-6
versions of Honda's Accord and the Toyota Camry. Eighteen-inch wheels, sport
tires, perforated leather bucket seats. a premium stereo with Sirius satellite
radio and exterior/interior trim upgrades (sport mesh grille, "aero" body
panels, "ellipsoid" projector-style headlamps, etc.) are included in the
Ralliart package as well. A new DVD navigation system with 7-inch LCD display is
optionally available. All '07 Galants now come standard with side curtain
airbags, in addition to front seat, side-impact airbags.
