(2004 model shown)
Endeavor
Mitsubishi's mid-size crossover sport-utility vehicle is stylish, comfortable, and capable. Its 3.8-liter V-6 engine produces 225 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift abilities is standard, and both front- and all-wheel-drive models are available in three trim levels. The vehicle rides on a four-wheel independent suspension for true car-like handling. Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution are optional on the LS and XLS versions, and are standard on the top Limited and all AWD models; traction control comes with 2WD XLS and Limited models. Front-side airbags are standard across the line. Mitsubishi's Active Traction and Skid Control feature is optional on the AWD Limited model. Only minor updates are evident for 2006.
