(2005 model shown)

This stylishly trimmed luxury version of the full-size Ford Expedition offers its own handsomely chrome-trimmed interior and exterior styling, added plushness, and a full array of standard amenities. It comes powered by a 300-horsepower 5.4-liter V-8 engine that's mated to six-speed automatic transmission. Both rear- and four-wheel drive models are offered. Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes with Brake Assist, Ford's AdvanceTrac stability control system with Roll Stability Control, and front-side and safety canopy airbags are included for safety's sake. A four-corner load-leveling suspension ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, though it can be handful to maneuver, especially in close quarters. An extensive options list includes power-folding third-row seats, a DVD entertainment system, power-deploying running boards, and high-intensity-discharge headlamps. A new-for-2006 Elite Package includes 18-inch chrome wheels, a navigation system with THX-Certified audio array, and a heavy-duty trailer-towing package, along with the HID headlamps, DVD system, and power running boards. Later in the model year, Pewter Clearcoat Metallic and Silver Birch Clearcoat Metallic join the list of paint choices, and a Charcoal Black interior becomes available.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
