The full-size LX470 is essentially a more-luxuriously equipped version of the Toyota Land Cruiser, and it proceeds for 2005 with only minor changes. It comes powered by a 235-horsepower 4.7-liter V-8 engine that's mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a rugged full-time four-wheel-drive system. Four-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes, Vehicle Skid Control, a limited-slip rear differential and an adjustable-height adaptive suspension are standard for maximum performance on or off the road. A long list of included amenities includes a rear backup video camera, automatic front and rear air conditioning, a navigation system, with a wireless telephone interface, a CD changer, heated automatic-dimming side mirrors, heated leather seats and rain-sensing windshield wipers. An optional Night View system helps drivers to see the road ahead that's beyond the range of the car's low-beam headlamps.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
