Lexus' well-equipped front-drive mid-size sedan is a more stylish and luxurious version of the Toyota Camry that delivers pleasing overall performance. It's powered by a 225-horsepower, 3.3-liter V-6 engine, which is mated to a smooth-shifting five-speed-automatic transmission. With MacPherson struts at all four corners, the ES330 offers a smooth ride with capable handling. Standard features are plentiful, including anti-lock brakes, front side airbags, and traction control, with Vehicle Skid Control, and an adaptive suspension, optional. For 2006, a Black Diamond Edition features exclusive Black Diamond paint, black bird's-eye maple wood trim, and other distinctive cosmetic touches.
