Rodeo
Continuing for 2005 with only minor updates anticipated, the mid-size Rodeo has long seemed dated compared to later and more-sophisticated sport-utility vehicles. Power comes from a 205-horsepower 3.2-liter V-6 engine, while a new top motor was added last year, which is the same direct-injection 250-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 that's otherwise found in the Axiom. Either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission can be fitted to the base engine, while the 3.5-liter version only comes with the automatic. Both engines are available in rear- and four-wheel-drive models. Anti-lock brakes, a CD stereo, manual moonroof and skid plates are standard. Choosing the 3.5-liter engine additionally includes power accessories, keyless entry, roof rails and a cargo cover.
