The Car Connection Expert Review

Based on the Nissan Armada, this full-size luxury SUV gets an additional 5 horsepower (for 320, total) and a new color -- Pacific Sapphire. It is otherwise unchanged for 2007. Both rear- and four-wheel-drive versions are available. The QX56 includes standard fold-flat second-row captain's chairs, 60/40 third row seating, power-operated flip-out rear quarter windows, 10-speaker stereo with either Sirius or XM satellite radio and MP3 capability, rear A/C, power folding outside mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, Bluetooth hands-free phone, roof rack and running boards, 18x8-inch rims, Sojourner leather-appointed seating surfaces, Tuscano thick-pile carpeting, Dark Macore or Blonde Apaya real wood trim and aluminum accents. Four-wheel-drive models also get standard underbody skid plates for the oil pan, transfer case and fuel tank. Max rated towing capacity is 9,000 pounds. All Qs come standard with front seat side-impact and full-row curtain airbags, four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist, sonar-based Rear Proximity Sensor, Vehicle Dynamic Control and a tire pressure monitoring system. Laser-guided cruise control, rearview video backup monitor and a DVD entertainment system are among its available options
