M35/M45
The latest version of Infiniti's luxury/sport M sedan offers a clean and uncluttered exterior styling, a well-designed interior, and exceptional all-around performance, with two levels of power. Sharing its underpinnings with Infiniti's G35, a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine comes standard in the M45, while the M45 blasts off with a 335-horsepower 4.5-liter V-8. A five-speed automatic transmission that affords manual gear selection is the only available gearbox. The M35 offers an all-wheel-drive version for improved grip over a wide variety of road surfaces and conditions. Sport versions include a rear active steering system that turns the back wheels slightly during extreme cornering maneuvers. Along with an ample assortment of comfort and convenience items, the M offers a long list of the latest high-tech features, including laser-guided cruise control, adaptive headlamps that help illuminate the road around curves, a Lane Departure Warning system that alerts the driver when the car veers beyond the lane markers, and Preview Braking that pre-pressurizes the brake lines in anticipation of a panic stop if the system detects that a car ahead is slowing suddenly or the motorist's foot is abruptly removed from the accelerator pedal.
