Infiniti's comfortable and stylish crossover vehicle continues for 2007 with only a few changes, including high-luster 18-inch wheels on the FX35, power-folding sideview mirrors on the FX45 and an available iPod plug-in and new seat belt reminder system. The rated horsepower of the 3.5-liter V-6 in the FX35 has been downrated slightly to 275 horsepower from 280, while the FX45's 4.5 liter V-8 picks up 5 horsepower, for 320 vs. 315 in '06. Both versions get a standard five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Infiniti's Downshift Rev Matching system. The FX45 comes standard with all-wheel drive, while the FX35 can be had as a base front-drive version.

All 2007 FX models come standard with an 11-speaker, 300-watt Bose audio system, RearView Monitor with 7-inch LCD display, leather trim and power tilt/telescope steering wheel. The FX45 further adds 20-inch rims (replacing the standard 18-inch rims on the FX35), chrome window moldings and polished aluminum roof rails, power folding sideview mirrors, plus wood and aluminum cabin trim, Four-wheel-disc brakes with anti-lock control, traction control and a side/curtain airbag system are standard safety features. The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
