FX35/45
Infiniti's stylish SUV truly puts the "sport" in sport-utility vehicle. The FX 35 comes adequately powered by a 280-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that's mated to a five-speed automatic with manual shifting capability, with a choice of rear- or all-wheel-drive. Four-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes, traction control and 18-inch wheels and tires are all standard. Meanwhile, the FX 45 gives vehicles like the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne a run for the money with its 315 horsepower 4.5-liter V-8 engine, automatic-engaging all-wheel-drive system and 20-inch alloy wheels and tires. Both versions include amenities like front-side and side-curtain airbags, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, xenon headlamps, fog lights, power driver's seat with memory settings, and a CD changer. An optional Technology Package includes a satellite navigation system, intelligent key push-button start and a tire pressure monitor. Options include a DVD entertainment system and a choice of either XM or Sirius satellite radio. The line continues for 2005 with only minor updates.
