Santa Fe
While a larger and redesigned Santa Fe SUV is on tap for late-2006 release, the current version continues, and adds a new opulently equipped Limited version. Power comes from a choice of a 2.7-liter or 3.5-liter V-6 engine, mated to four- and five-speed automatic transmissions, respectively. Both front- and all-wheel-drive models remain in the line. It will tow 1000 pounds. Front, front-side, and side-curtain airbags are along for the ride, as are side airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, air conditioning, power locks, mirrors, and windows, a CD stereo, and alloy wheels. A power sunroof, CD changer, and roof rails are optional. All Hyundais are backed by a five-year/60,000 comprehensive warranty, with ten-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain coverage.
