CR-V
The compact, five-passenger car-based CR-V sport-utility vehicle underwent freshening last year and remains largely status quo for 2006. Available in front- or all-wheel-drive versions, a standard 156-horsepower 2.4-liter in-line-four-cylinder engine can be mated to either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on the base LX version include four-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes, air conditioning, an AM/FM-cassette stereo, cruise control, rear defroster, power locks, mirrors, and windows, 16-inch wheels and tires, and a handy picnic table. Front-side airbags are optional. The top EX model adds anti-lock brakes, a CD changer, keyless entry, alloy wheels, and a power moonroof. Royal Blue Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic are added to the exterior color palette for 2006.
