Sprinter

While most Dodge Sprinters are sold as commercial vehicles (it is also sold in theU.S. by Freightliner), this tall-design van, built in Europe by Mercedes-Benz, is also available in passenger versions. It rides on a choice of three wheelbases and offers two roof heights. A 64-inch stature is standard while a 73-inch roof - tall enough for six-footers to stand erect - comes with the high-roof model. The Sprinter is powered by a fuel-efficient 154-horsepower in-line-five-cylinder turbodiesel engine and offers seating for as many as 10 passengers. An Electronic Stability Program is included on 2500 and 3500 models. Air conditioning and a cassette stereo come standard, as do up to 12 cupholders. Most options are aimed at heavy-duty fleet-type use, though a CD player, rear heater, and a manual-tilting sunroof are offered. Few changes only are in the works for 2006.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
