The Caravan and extended-wheelbase Grand Caravan
minivans get two new exterior color offerings for 2007 — Modern Blue Pearl Coat
and Marine Blue Pearl Coat. It is otherwise unchanged from 2006, when the
Stow ‘N Go
seating configuration became standard for extended-wheelbase versions; both
second- and third-row seats fold completely into the floor with this feature. A
2.4-liter, 150-horsepower four-cylinder engine is standard in base SE models.
The SXT standard wheelbase model gets a 170-horsepower, 3.3-liter V-6. SXT
extended wheelbase versions get a 200-horsepower 3.8-liter V-6. All powertrains
are mated to a four-speed AutoStick automatic transmission. Standard safety
equipment includes dual-stage driver and passenger airbags, a driver’s side
inflatable knee bolster and belt-minder buzzer. Traction and stability control,
as well as full-row curtain airbags and anti-lock brakes, are available on
higher trim models or as separate options. A power rear liftgate, rear back-up
warning system, DVD navigation, rear-seat entertainment system with wireless
headphones, premium Infinity Acoustic eight-speaker audio system, three-zone
climate control, a removable center console, heated leather seats, Touring
suspension package and trailer tow package with load-leveling and height control
are among the many available options.
