Crossfire
A high-performance SRT6 version of this Mercedes SLK-based coupe and convertible was added to the line last year that offers a 330-horsepower supercharged engine, along with brake and suspension upgrades and other added features that include an active, speed-sensitive rear spoiler. Base and Limited models continue to come powered by a lively 215-horsepower V-6 that comes mated to either a standard six-speed manual gearbox or available five-speed automatic with manual-shift abilities (the SRT-6 only comes with the automatic). The Crossfire's muscular exterior styling is complemented by a twin-cockpit interior that's finished in metallic accents and houses amenities like dual-zone air conditioning and power locks, windows, and mirrors. All-speed traction control with Mercedes-Benz' Electronic Stability Program are both standard. Available options are limited, and include a navigation system and two-tone heated leather power seats. Few changes are evident for 2006.
