The V8 Vantage is the most accessible Aston Martin model, with an entry price point just over the six-figure mark. It is offered in coupe form only and is powered by a 380-horsepower, 4.3-liter V-8 engine which features dry-sump oiling and a 7,300-rpm peak power point. It is smaller and more of a pure sports car than the larger, heavier DB9 and V-12 Vanquish, both of which are also offered in four-seater configuration. All Vantages come standard with high-capacity four-wheel-disc brakes with anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control and side-impact airbags. Like its Porsche 911 competitor, the Vantage is available with a large array of possible options, so that each car is essentially unique. Only about 2,000 are scheduled to be built annually.
