The 2010 Aston Martin Rapide is a luxury four-door exotic, the first sedan in the company's history.
A derivative of the DB9 range, the Rapide shares the DB9's 6.0-liter V-12, its rear-drive running gear, its six-speed automatic transmission and some of its aluminum architecture.
With the stretch in wheelbase on the Rapide comes an extra pair of doors--"swan" doors, Aston says, that cant out and upward for easier access into the very small rear pair of seats.
