Why should I also consider these? X

Although it's a Nissan, the Murano is priced more in line with luxury-brand models—especially when you add a few options to the S or SL models, or simply get the LE.

Is it worth it? Depends on your motives.

The Murano is a lot more stylish and more enjoyable to drive than either the Toyota Highlander or the Ford Edge, and it's so refined that the comparisons to the Lexus RX 350 are actually valid.

It has nearly as much interior polish, but fails to include the top-notch dealership experience that you'd get from Lexus or Infiniti.

Ford’s Edge is similar in size to the Murano and, like it, comes with only two rows of seating.

The Mazda CX-7 is slightly smaller and feels much sportier, with tauter handling and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
