Volkswagen has released teaser shots of a new crossover concept it plans to unveil at next week’s 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The concept is believed to preview a subcompact crossover due out in 2018. This SUV is part of a wave of new high-riding models due from VW over the coming years.
Last week, leaked images of the production-ready Maserati Levante surfaced on the Internet prior to the official debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Apparently, that leak has spurred Maserati to get out in front of the story as the Italian luxury brand has taken to Twitter to reveal the Levante under its own terms.
Mercedes-Benz has already unveiled its next-generation E-Class, albeit so far only in the sedan bodystyle. There are still several variants due such as the high-performance E63 from Mercedes-AMG as well as the new coupe, convertible, long-wheelbase sedan and wagon. It’s the latter that is the focus of our latest spy shots.

A German newspaper has suggested that the Environmental Protection Agency wants Volkswagen to build electric cars at its assembly plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The agency also wants Volkswagen to help build a nationwide network of DC fast-charging sites for plug-in electric vehicles.
Now there's a Tesla electric car for people that aren't even old enough to drive yet. Radio Flyer collaborated with Tesla to make a Model S for kids, and it could be the perfect way to indoctrinate tomorrow's potential electric-car buyers while they're young.
