The Lincoln MKX appeals to the sort of buyer who might be served well by a luxury sedan but appreciates the added space and versatility—and perhaps the higher seating position—of a crossover. It enters another model year mostly unchanged, except for a few cosmetic changes, some new wheels, and a new Limited Edition Package entering the lineup for 2014.

Acura has finally confirmed what we’ve already known for some time--that the current TSX and TL models will be replaced by a single model known as the TLX. The new TLX will go on sale in the second half of 2014, as a 2015 model, and will fill the gap between the ILX and RLX in Acura’s sedan lineup.
In July of this year, Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz tuner AMG signed a Letter of Intent to form a wide-ranging technical partnership aimed at providing the historic British sports car brand with access to some of AMG’s latest technology in return for some shares and other assets. Today, the parties have taken the partnership a step further by signing a final agreement.
At the recent 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru rolled out a new performance wagon concept called the Levorg, which the automaker confirmed will reach showrooms, though so far only the Japanese market has been mentioned. The Levorg is about as big as you’d expect an Impreza wagon to be, and there are many predicting the eventual production version will serve as the replacement for the WRX hatchback, which was noticeably absent during the launch of the latest 2015 WRX.

It seems to be the season for diesel compact crossovers. Since September, we've driven the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250 BlueTEC and the new 2014 Audi Q5 TDI. Now we've added some forbidden fruit to that list: the European-market diesel version of the Volkswagen Tiguan.
Authorities are currently investigating the causes of a fire in a garage in Southern California that contained a Tesla Model S. While the actual cause of the fire remains undetermined, Tesla and the Orange County Fire Authority are publicly disputing possible causes, thought to center around the Tesla charging system.
