A new generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the W205, is expected to debut early next year, with many suggesting it will be unveiled at January’s 2014 Detroit Auto Show, but a new teaser video from Mercedes is already giving us a taste of what’s to come. It provides glimpses of a new Mercedes model that shares lines with numerous prototypes for the new C-Class that have been spied over the past couple of years.
At the Detroit Auto Show at the start of this year, industry veteran Bob Lutz presented a Fisker Karma concept powered by a Corvette V-8 engine. The car was a preview of a new luxury sedan called the Destino that Lutz and other investors planned to launch under the VL name.

Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk certainly has some big toys, as the founder of an electric car company and SpaceX among other things. But it turns out he has one toy that any boy would be envious of: the Lotus Esprit from the James Bond 007 film, The Spy Who Loved Me.
The next-generation of BMW's MINI subcompact could spawn as many as ten different variants following its arrival next year. In an interview, BMW's board member in charge of MINI, Peter Schwartzenbauer, suggested that "eight to ten models" could be built from the car's new ULK platform.
