If you've got a passion for performance cars and a knack for names, listen up: from now until next Thursday, October 24, Chrysler invites you to name the color of the 2014 Dodge SRT Viper.

You don't have to pick the color itself -- Chrysler's already taken care of that. It's the mid-range blue you see on the Viper above. Like some deity on a home decor bender, you just have to name it.

We thought it looked a little blueberry-ish, though "blueberry" doesn't fit the Viper's racy image. Royal blue? Not in America. Blue Iris? Again, not a good match -- plus, it's been done

When you've sorted through all the possibilities and found the perfect fit, head to DriveSRT.com/colorcontest. There, you can plug in your contact information and your undoubtedly spectacular name.

A panel of judges from the SRT design staff will sift through all the submissions and pick three finalists. The winner will be determined via votes cast by the public between November 4 and November 11.

That winner will receive a pair of tickets to the 2014 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at Daytona International Speedway. He or she will also have the chance to while away a few hours with the Viper Design team over the race weekend.

For complete details, be sure to check out the official contest rules. And if you think you're going to win with "Blootylicious", I'm afraid we've beaten you to the punch. Good luck!
