Visiting San Francisco or Los Angeles and want to appear a tech trend-setter? If you don't mind shelling out a higher premium, you now have the opportunity to rent a Tesla S from Hertz.
The all-electric luxury sedan is only available at the San Francisco (SFO) and Los Angeles (LAX) airports.
The Tesla S joins the Tesla Roadster in the Hertz fleet, part of the company’s “Dream Cars” program. Other exotic cars in the program include vehicles from Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Ferrari.
But don’t expect to see row upon row of the Tesla S. According to Bloomberg, Hertz is only providing five Teslas combined at the two airports. As for cost, it’s reported to start around $500 per day.
