It's been a crazy busy week and if you weren't following The Car Connection on social media, well, you missed a lot.
This week Tesla [NSDQ:TSLA] made a brouhaha over its Model S being so safe it broke NHTSA's testing equipment. At one point, NHSTA stepped in as it felt Tesla was going beyond the reasonable guidelines with its claims.
Meanwhile, Nissan announced the next-generation Titan pickup truck will be available with a new Cummins turbodiesel V-8 engine. That's definitely something truck enthusiasts can get excited about.
We drove a 2013 Honda Fit EV, and it's a darn good electric car; it's too bad about the dated infotainment system. We also drove some diesel Audis along with a new 2014 Mercedes-Benz E250 BlueTEC. While we did drive the new 2014 Toyota Corolla, we can't tell you about that until Tuesday.
