Today at The Car Connection, Fisker Automotive laid off most of its employees and we took a look at the company's history. Chevrolet began accepting orders for the 2014 Volt range-extended electric car, and we reviewed the 2013 Nissan Frontier. All this and more in today's car news, right here on The Car Connection.

  1. What happened to the review article on the 2014 Nissan Frontier?
    All I see is a review article on the 2013 Nissan Frontier.
    Typo or just lack of not knowing the difference between 2013-14?

  3. There should have been a period after 2014 instead of a comma. But then the headline would have had to be changed to:Fisker's Karma; Chevy Volt For 2014. Nissan Frontier Reviewed: Car News Headlines

  4. We typically use commas to separate the three topics in the car new headlines, but I can see how you read it as 2014 Frontier. I apologize for any confusion.

    The 2014 Frontier isn't out yet. We'll post a review as soon as we can.

  6. I will say this that since Nissan and Toyota are now really the only true contenders in this size class of trucks that both Nissan and Toyota need to step up to the plate to do some much needed refreshing.
    Rumor has it that Hyundia/Kia are coming out with a midsize truck.
