Got a graduate on your shopping list? Not sure what the kids are into these days? Well, one thing's for sure: they all love Sony's PlayStation Vita.
The Vita is a new handheld gaming console. Its biggest selling point -- and what really differentiates it from Sony's previous portable models -- is its ability to let users take their games to go.
By now, you've probably seen the commercial of the guy who's playing a videogame then picks up his PlayStation Vita on the way out the door so he can keep playing en route to work. Pretty cool, right?
So why are we, a car site, telling you all this? Because everyone who buys or leases a 2012 Scion iQ will get a free PlayStation Vita (while supplies last or until July 31, 2012, whichever comes first).
This isn't Scion's first time to hook up with the PlayStation Vita. They were introduced to one another by the MotorStorm RC racing videogame, which put the iQ on the game's virtual track. Since then, the two have become inseparable.
But if you want to get the Vita in time for Junior's (or Juniorette's) graduation, you need to act fast. According to the official rules, Scion dealers don't keep the devices in stock, you have to mail in a certificate, and then the PlayStation Vita will be sent to you. That could take a couple of weeks.
