MINI is well-known for its highly customizable cars, with everything from exterior color, decals, and trim to interior materials, details, and style on the table. The latest special edition leverages this flexibility to deliver the MINI Convertible Highgate.
The company calls it "open-top driving fun with sophisticated individuality and an essential dose of Brit-cool." While that's quite a mouthful, the Highgate version of the MINI does include some unique flair.
Offered in both Cooper and Cooper S forms, the Convertible Highgate comes in a subtle Iced Chocolate metallic paint color, with Midnight Black and White Silver metallic paints available, too. Brown/black stripes add agent, and the brown soft top ties it all together.

Inside, the upholstery is Lounge leather in Dark Truffle with light blue piping for contrast. Brushed alloy trim elements, stainless steel pedals, and Chrome Line interior package complete the look.
The Highgate models also get 17-inch Double Cross alloy wheels, their pattern inspired by the Union Jack flag; unique Highgate badges on the fenders and door sills; and all of the standard equipment of features found in a standard MINI Cooper or Cooper S.
The Highgate will be available this spring, at an additional cost of $2,750 for Cooper Convertible models and $2,500 for Cooper S Convertible models.
