Large families of seven or eight looking for a vehicle that can carry them all and also get the best mileage have quite a few choices among 2012 product offerings. Here we take a look at seven- or eight-passenger SUVs, crossovers and minivans that carry the most people and get the most mileage.

Of course, whether you’re looking for the highest city, highway or combined fuel economy makes a difference, as well as whether you require seven or eight seats. You’ll have to make choices as to engines as well, since some of the highest fuel economy models have four-cylinder engines.
