Would you like a new Ford Fiesta? Do you own an iPhone? Do you happen to live in Europe? If you answered "yes" to all three of those questions, we've got good news for you.
Ford has partnered with the popular photo-sharing app, Instagram, to launch the #Fiestagram Photo Competition. Instagram users in Europe will have the chance to win one of six weekly prizes over the next six weeks, and one of those winners will drive off in the grand prize: a brand-new Ford Fiesta. The competition began just two days ago, on October 10, and runs through November 30.
Participating is easy: just use Instagram to snap a pic that shows off a particular feature or technology found on the Ford Fiesta. Then, upload the photo to Instagram, or post it to Facebook using the "#Fiestagram" hashtag. (Either way, you'll need to register with the Ford Fiesta Facebook application to be eligible to win.)
Of course, you can't just take a pic of any old Fiesta feature: Ford has organized the Fiesta's features into six categories: #Starting, #Hidden, #Listening, #Entry, #Music, and #Shapes. Each category will be given its own week. As you might've guessed, this week's category is "#Starting".
At the end of the week, submissions will be judged by a panel of experts: James Day (photographer), Philippe González (founder of Instagram), and Scott Monty (Ford’s head of social media). The winner will receive that week's prize, and the overall winner of the contest will drive off in a Ford Fiesta.
