2011 Nissan Xterra
If you're planning to purchase a new pickup or sport utility vehicle, listen up, because Nissan has just announced pricing on 2012 models of the Frontier, Pathfinder, and Xterra. According to a press release from Nissan, all three are now on sale at dealers across the country.
The 2012 Nissan Frontier will come with two engine configurations: a 152 hp inline four-cylinder and a 261 hp V6. Like its 2011 predecessor, pricing for the 2012 Frontier will kick off at $18,200 for the "S" model with king cab. If you'd like a few more bells and whistles, you might consider the "Sport Appearance Package", which includes 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, body-color bumpers, sport graphics, and more. The fully blinged Frontier tops out at $29,320.
Most 2012 Nissan Pathfinders will come with a 266 hp V6 engine, five-speed automatic transmission, and either two- or four-wheel drive. Pricing for the "S" version begins at $28,570, which is also the MSRP for the 2011 model. At the top of the line sits the Pathfinder LE 4x4 V8, the only model in the range to come with a 310 hp V8. That one will set you back $43,250.
Last but not least, we have the 2012 Nissan Xterra, all versions of which come with a 261 hp V6 (though buyers can choose between automatic and manual transmission). The base "S" model runs $24,260 -- just like its predecessor -- going all the way up to $30,720 for the 2012 Xterra PRO-4X 4x4 with automatic.
Stay tuned for more details and reviews a little further down the road.
