2011 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

With all the buzz surrounding the BMW i announcement today, we must not forget about the big old rumbling V-8. In an age where a Corvette with over 400 horsepower can easily average 25 mpg on the highway, the V-8 is alive and well.

From the reborn pony car wars to the Koreans bringing a 5.0-liter V-8 to a four-door sedan, we live in a world where the V-8 engine probably deserves more attention than we give it.

Two-doors or four-doors? Rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive? American or import? There are so many choices.

So today we ask you, tell us your favorite high-horsepower, low-dollar car. Tweet us your response and make sure to include the hashtag #GlobalWarmingFTW -- and you'll join the chorus right here via CoverItLive.
