What Should The Next-Gen Corvette Be Like? #YouTellUs

July 20, 2011

The Chevrolet Corvette is an American icon, but it is finally ready for a refresh. Chevrolet has already told us that the next-generation Corvette (C7) is on the way soon, though very few details have leaked out.

Design Chief Ed Welburn has already confirmed the C7 will feature a split-rear window. We have been told the Stingray concept is not the C7 design, but it may indicate the styling direction.

Rumors regarding the powertrain have been in full force. Some said it could feature all-wheel drive, while others think it might feature a twin-turbo V-6. Many agree that it might have a 7-speed manual transmission like the new 2012 Porsche 911 (991). Sadly, nothing has been confirmed, and everything is merely speculation.

So today we ask you, what should the next-generation Corvette be like? Tweet us your response and make sure to include the hashtag #NextVette -- and you'll join the chorus right here via CoverItLive.
