2013 Infiniti JX Concept teaser
Families looking for more choice in a luxury seven-passenger crossover only have until next spring to wait. That’s when the new 2013 Infiniti JX goes on sale.
The automaker released the first real image of the luxury crossover today – timed to emphasize the vehicle’s seven-passenger capability: at exactly 7:07 a.m.
While this is just a first look, Infiniti says that it’s just the start of a social media campaign where seven images of the JX Concept will be exclusively distributed on Facebook every Thursday over the next seven weeks. The global preview will be at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18.
As for the production version – the one that will go on sale in Spring 2012 – Infiniti plans to show it off at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show this November.
In the meantime, here’s what we do know. The automaker says that the Infiniti JX will feature a “stunning interior,” exceptional seating flexibility, a roomy third row with easy-access, and the latest in-vehicle technology, including advanced telematics.
Infiniti currently sells the five-passenger EX and FX crossovers as well as the QX full-size SUV that seats up to eight.
