2009 BMW M3
BMW now has two cars that are fighting for a similar piece of the pie. The 2011 BMW M3 is the heavyweight (literally), and with a loyal following and hallowed nameplate, it's the car to beat. The 2011 BMW 1M Coupe is the newcomer, it's lighter and has more torque when using the over-boost function.
Both of these BMW M cars are terrific. The M3 has been top dog when it comes to sports cars, but over the years it has become larger and heavier. Add to that the immense amounts of technology, and the M3 just isn't the same car it used to be. BMW has cribbed parts for the 1M straight from the M3 parts bin. On paper, the M3 is the obvious choice, but some might prefer the simpler, nimbler approach of the 1M Coupe.
So today we ask you, which is the mack daddy: the 2011 BMW 1M Coupe or the 2011 BMW M3? Tweet us your response and make sure to include the hashtag #SiblingRivalry-- and you'll join the chorus right here via CoverItLive.
