Lexus tells us that it is in the pursuit of perfection. Audi approaches luxury with a progressive mindset. Two big entries into the luxury car class, but which is the winner? So today we want to ask which defines luxury.

Audi makes some really nice vehicles. The new A7 is just gorgeous and the A8 interior is right out of a movie. But then you have vehicles like the current A3 which many feel barely deserves the Audi rings.

Lexus is known for luxury. It has award after award for the creamy smooth operation of its vehicles. The LS came onto the scene over 20 years ago, and completely shook up the luxury car market. Now it is being challenged from all directions. Can it hold?

We want to hear from you, which defines luxury: Audi or Lexus? Tweet us your response and make sure to include the hashtag #LuxuryDefined-- and you'll join the chorus right here via CoverItLive.

  1. I reckon that Lexus defines Luxury. Even the "L" in its name stays for luxury. The Lexus has always been famous for the luxurious interiors and wealth equipment. Recently it has shown some great sports cars that keep up to the German competitors. That's very impressive. But crucially Lexus has kept up to its competitors even since its launch. It does better work with the design language so you can distinguish the models from each other. All the Audis look identical at the front and some of them are more than similar in the cockpit. You pay extra money for the size mostly.

  2. Guess it depends on your definition of luxury - if it's what your grandparents want, Lexus all the way.

  3. What about BMW?
