Saab has had a rocky start to 2011. It finally rid itself of GM and found a new owner back on the Continent. But it turns out it takes money to run a car company, and Saab's shaky finances have put it in peril.

For the last few days it looked as if the Chinese automaker Hawtai was going to step in and save Saab. This morning we learned that the deal is off. Saab is now looking for a new source for a cash infusion, and is still working with Hawtai to try to gain all the necessary approvals from the state.

Saab has pulled more rabbits out of a very large hat than we can count, and now we want you to weigh in. Can it pull through one more time? Tell us by tweeting your answer, and make sure to include the hashtag #SaabSurvival--and you'll join in the chorus here via CoverItLive.
