Recall Watch: 2010 Chrysler Town & Country

Chrysler has issued a recall for up to 154,388 vehicles, including the 2010 Town & Country. The recall documentation states that the ignition key may inadvertently displace from the “Run” position to the “Acc” position while driving.

This movement of the key causes the engine to shut down. This shut down means the power steering and power brakes are no longer active and potentially leading an accident. Only Town & Countrys with a manufacture date between August 3, 2009 and June 17, 2010 are affected. Chrysler is replacing the WIN modules in all affected vehicles.

If you feel this recall affects your 2010 Town & Country, contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
