Like many other automakers, BMW is set to run a major advertisement in the upcoming Super Bowl. This year they want to take the advertisement and tie it to a social media contest dubbed "The X3 Matchup."
The premise of the contest is for BMW fans to guess the exact configuration of the X3 featured in the upcoming Super Bowl commercial. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a two-year lease on a new X3. They will also be given a trip to BMW's Spartanburg, South Carolina plant to take delivery of the X3 along with seeing how it is built. As if that was not enough, BMW will also be throwing in a two-day performance driving class at the BMW Performance center.
Fans can enter the contest starting today, January 21, and it will run through Thursday, February 10. If you want to start early, you can enter your guess as to the configuration of the X3 in the upcoming commercial on BMW's Facebook fan page. Each person can only enter once a day. The entire contest is based on a points system.
While this contest may seem like an easy task, you should know BMW says there are over 10 million unique configurations available for the new BMW X3.
For those that don't win the Grand Prize, BMW will award ten First Prize packages. Each First Prize winner will receive a trip for two to BMW's Spartanburg, South Carolina plant for a tour and a two-day class at BMW's Performance Driving School.
You have less than a month, so make sure to get your guess in before February 10.
