Everyone wants to consume their media on mobile devices today. Paper is so passe. Subaru has gotten that memo (electronically), and has launched a new interactive virtual brochure for the 2011 Outback.
The digital brochure gives consumers the ability to view videos and demonstrations, and check out the Outback in different interior and exterior color schemes. Consumers will also be able to get a 360-degree view of the Outback. Once done viewing and customizing an Outback, consumers can either save, print, or share their configuration.
Subaru is known for going green. With donations to charities and green plants, this online brochure is just another way to help the environment by saving paper.
Subaru says that the Forester, Impreza WRX/STI, and other vehicles in its line-up are all scheduled to also receive online digital brochures soon.
