For the next several days, automakers from around the globe will share new rides, technology, and other goodies with hordes of eager journalists and the general public. There's nothing like seeing those reveals in person, but if you can't make it to Detroit this year, or if you have a strong aversion to cold weather, there's still a way for you to get in on the action: with live video feeds.
Thanks to the mainstreaming of broadband access and the rise of social media, automakers have become much more interested in debuting their products before a global audience, not just in front of journalists . As a result, many companies gathered in Detroit will conduct their unveilings via live video broadcasts. We're keeping tabs on those events -- here's a short list of the ones we know of so far, and we'll post updates as more roll in.
Audi will post a live reveal of the 2012 Audi A6 on Monday, January 10, at 12:25pm ET. Just visit the Audi Facebook page and click "Livestream".
