When the Nissan Juke debuted last year, it turned a lot of heads: it's stylish, it's functional, and it starts at just $18,960. The Juke is technically billed as a mini-crossover, but it's cute and quirky enough to compete against a range of models, from the MINI Cooper to the Ford Fiesta to MPVs like the Kia Soul and Nissan's own Cube. Not surprisingly, the Juke is aimed at younger shoppers, and to reach that demographic, Nissan has just launched a smartphone-based game on SCVNGR.

The game is called "Juke the City", and it began on Monday in four U.S. cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. At heart, it's a sweepstakes, with each game-player entered into a drawing to win a brand-new 2011 Nissan Juke. According to the Juke the City website, playing the game is "wicked easy" (their words, not ours):

1) Download the free SCVNGR app for iPhone or Android

2) Tap "treks" and find "JUKE THE CITY"

3) Go to the places in the trek and do challenges there

4) Earn points to unlock rewards and chances to win a Juke

If you don't have an iPhone or Android device, or if you don't live in one of the four cities, don't worry: you can still enter to win at JukeTheCity.com, and you can submit up to 20 additional entries by snail mail. Either way, the contest only runs through January 28, so get cracking -- or SCVNGing, as the case may be.
