Yesterday we had the opportunity to chat with Ford's social media lead Scott Monty at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. Scott is not only leading the charge when it comes to Ford's social media, but is also a recognized leader in the social media industry as a whole.

During the interview Scott gives us some insight into how the upcoming Focus rally will work when it launches in February 2011, while also noting how and why the rally will be different than the Fiesta Movement and new Explorer launch. Scott also gives us his thoughts on what will be the next big thing in social media and why.

    So, lemme get this right. The future of social for the marketer of the year in automotive... is... video.
    Ughh, o.k. news flash here, video has been part of social for a while now but whatever.
    I think I'll go buy The New GM stock and reinforce Chinese investment in the auto industry.
