ProCharger Releases 600-HP Supercharger Kit For Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

November 1, 2010
With more than 16 years of experience developing supercharger kits for Ford engines, ProCharger has now released a new kit that takes in all that experience and turns it into a healthy 600 horsepower. The latest kit is the ProCharger High Output Intercooled Supercharger System and it has been tuned for both 5.4- and 6.2-liter versions of the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor pickup.

Utilizing a centrifugal supercharger making 8-9 psi of boost, both the 5.4-liter 3V and 6.2-liter engines respond very well to ProCharger's intercooled forced-induction solution. Using a ProCharger D-1SC supercharger and large, front-mounted air-to-air intercooler, 6.2-liter Raptors make more than 600 horsepower, while 5.4-liter models use a P-1SC-1 supercharger to produce more than 500 horsepower.

The kits are designed to be installed onto a completely stock engine and require absolutely no internal engine modifications or changes to the stock exhaust system. And like all ProCharger supercharger systems and tuner kits, they neatly fit under the stock hood. Additionally, both the P-1SC-1 and D-1SC superchargers are available with a helical gearset option for reduced supercharger noise levels.

Pricing starts at $5,446 for the entry-level 5.4-liter kit, which still requires post-installation calibration by a qualified tuner. Higher boost and power levels are available but for these engine internals will also need to be modified.
