Nissan Offering Flashy Custom Graphics For Cube Juke, Frontier

October 6, 2010
If you're not already making enough of a statement with a boxy Nissan Cube or quirky Nissan Juke, you now have the potential to make it uniquely your own. Really: A new Nissan Graphics program—through the company Original Wraps—lets you add a surprising level of whatever you please—whether that be an olive paisley racing stripe, a tattoo-like bird, or a giant pink wing.

Back at the time of the Nissan Cube's launch last winter, Nissan had revealed plans for a whole line of graphics and decals for its boxy people-mover. They're now available for both the Cube and the soon-arriving 2011 Nissan Juke, and soon they'll be offered for the Frontier pickup.

At a special site, shoppers can either choose from side graphics, stripes, front graphics, or special hood graphics, then print out the result for their dealer for order.

The graphics are made of 3M Scotchprint Personalized Vehicle Graphic Film, plus a clear graphic protection layer, according to Original Wraps, the company that provides them. They're designed to last three to five years and be replaceable—unlike that tattoo you now regret—and they come with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.

One of the only issues with getting these graphics—other than your changing tastes—is that automated car washes probably aren't a great idea; hand-washing is recommended.

The graphics can be installed at any Nissan dealership, or you can call 877-433-3984 for more information.
