If you’re thinking of purchasing a new or used car, you’ll definitely want to consider a Buick model as one of your top choices. There really is no better or more trusted brand of car around today. Throughout the years, Buick has proven itself to be a reliable, durable brand that always has the driver’s safety and comfort in mind. With the company’s rich history and multiple awards, you really can’t afford to overlook Buicks.

Buick first began producing cars in 1899, making it the oldest American automobile manufacturer. Since that time, the company has grown to be the giant it is today. It is owned by General Motors and is considered a luxury brand. Buicks are currently sold not just in the United States but in Canada, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Qatar, Kuwait, and Israel as well. In every country where these cars are sold, Buick is thought to be a solid, respectable brand name. This is because the great service and long life of a Buick is not something that you can find in just any car.

Buick has also won many awards for its superb service and car design in the years since its inception. In fact, this year, the Buick LaCrosse has been nominated for North American Car of the Year, a huge honor. Edmunds.com also named the Buick LaCrosse as one of the “Top Ten Best Dark Horse Cars of 2010.” This same car was also named the “Best Luxury Sedan” by at the MotorWeek Driver’s Choice Awards. It’s not just this year that Buick has been making waves and winning awards either. In fact, Buick has a long line of “outstanding” cars and has been named one of the most dependable vehicles by the J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study. Obviously, Buick is doing something right.

Of course, you shouldn’t just take our word for it. If you’re thinking of purchasing a Buick, be sure that you do some research on your own. Find out how the car you’re interested in fared in crash tests; Buicks usually score very high. A high safety rating also helps lower your auto insurance costs--important when you're forking out money for a new car. Also be sure to read user reviews and check out ratings for any car you’re thinking of purchasing. If it’s a Buick, odds are you’re going to be quite impressed by what you read, and in these tough economic times, you really do want to find a car that you can trust and depend upon.
