It's been a busy week here at SocialCarNews, but things are finally slowing down. Several of our colleagues have dashed out of town for one last blast of saltwater taffy-fueled fun, and to judge from the headlines not creeping across our desks, most of the industry movers-and-shakers have done the same. Ordinarily we'd join them, but we're committed to entertaining you.
At least until the boss heads out for lunch. In the meantime, we're going to share three of our favorite video clips of the week -- all of which hail from official automaker YouTube channels. Surely you need some Friday timewasters by now?
First up, for the racing fans, we've got a clip of Michael Schumacher, motoring around the U.K. in a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate talking about the year in Formula One. Don't miss the guy in the passing lane who clocks Schumacher (or maybe the AMG) around the one-minute mark.
For music buffs, here's a shot of Bill and Tom Kaulitz from Germany's Tokio Hotel (remember them?), doing a photoshoot with two custom Audi A1s -- which, as we've recently learned, may be heading stateside after all. Well, probably maybe sort of.
Last but certainly not least, here's our favorite clip of all: b-roll from Vice President Joe Biden's tour of Chrysler's Toledo Assembly Complex. Oh, Chrysler: only you would find this interesting enough to post on the PentastarVideo channel. And we love you for that.
