Volvo interiors have a unique, upscale look.  The unusual T-Tec upholstery, with its wetsuit look, is a nice step up from traditional cloth.  The ribbon-thin floating center console lends a futuristic ambiance, and rear bucket seats in place of the traditional bench are a cut above what you expect in a sub-$25,000 hatchback.

The Kizashi is Suzuki's moonshot -- an upscale vehicle with sporty road manners and a very low price, it's meant to compare to entry-level luxury cars with a sticker price $10,000 less.  With standard dual-zone climate control and keyless entry, cabin materials with substance to them, and a very impressive 425-watt Rockford-Fosgate audio system standard on all but the base trim, it nearly pulls off the trick.  The fact that many Americans don't live within easy driving distance of a Suzuki dealership is the biggest hurdle the car has to cross, because it's hard to settle for a stripped-down Camry knowing you can have a well-equipped Kizashi for under $22k.
