Every once in a while a car manufacturer tries to do something new in one of their advertisements and pushes the boundaries of creativity. Audi has had a number of such commercials in recent years. Here are three of my favorites:
Audi’s "Green Police" commercial, from the 2010 Super Bowl, shows that going green means making a lifestyle change. Granted, this idea has been exaggerated to comical extremes for our entertainment pleasure, but the point stands: “Changing what we drive is a start, and what better way to begin than with an A3 TDI?”
Performance From Every Part
Seeing the inner workings of a twin-turbocharged V10 can be an interesting weekend project. Watching professional gymnasts portray a running 580 horsepower monster like the one out of the RS6 Avant. That’s just breathtaking.
Break The Cycle
Nothing is more disheartening than the idea that your entire life is mapped out for you. Now imagine that your college counsellor had sat you down during your senior year of high school and had shown you what that map looked like. Prayers for divine intervention would run through mind as you long to run out of his office muttering the nonsensical obscenities of one who had just seen the impossible...Unless your prayers are answered and the cycle is broken.
